I got a free sample from Walmart to try out BB Cream from Maybelline, I like free!

Ive seen commercials about this BB cream and noticed other companies have their own version but never really paid attention to what it is or what it does,  so from Maybellines site:

My face before applying BB cream (forgive my makeup, I wasnt done)

 I still get acne and have acne scars so since BB cream claims to be a make up that "Blurs imperfections" and "evens skin tone" I assumed it would have some coverage, heres a picture after I applied:

It didnt change anything other than give me some white tone in my face. Maybe it had to do with the color of the cream , I need a darker one. I wish I can give you a decent review but I think I'll hold off until I get the cream in a darker tone or else the review would be bad right now and who knows it might change once the right color is applied. I plan on buying IMAN Cosmetics BB cream since they have a variety of darker shades. Before I go I feel like I have to show me with my make up finished cause the other pictures look crazy lol

Ive been gone for a small time but finding an apartment is hard work. Its fun but its also disappointing, finding something great within a budget is a task. We found great apartments but they were in a bad area or upstairs. The downstairs apartments weren't spacious enough for us but we will be applying for one soon that will work out for us even if its not exactly what we wanted, sometimes we have make do with what we have and since our goal was to move in a spacious apartment and the kids to be safe we are doing good. 

Since thats taking up some time i've neglected the lipstick calendar and I feel bad about that but I'll restart it again but in January once we've moved.

In other new... my youngest turned 5 in November and we had a small party for him, just family. He loved it! JayCen actually had two parties since his dad lives LA and he goes to visit him during the weekends, I guess thats a perk for Jaycen lol His dad had a power ranger party for him and I had a Spiderman party, per his request. This weekend the family visited Speed Zone LA, the two younger boys were visiting their dad for the weekend so they weren't here to join in on the fun but my oldest son Adrian invited our neighbor, Jesse, who we say we call our adopted son. I was surprised Adrian actually wanted to go since hes such a homebody like his momma. We went later in the evening so pardon the pictures being dark...

Speed Zone has about 5 different race/go cart tracks and they all very in size, they all have height requirements but there's something for everyone. They have two different golf courses, we didnt play golf or really stay out on the tracks because it was pretty cold that night.

Sometime last week Kmart was having buy one get one 50% off Wet N Wild Cosmetics, WNW have cheap prices already so I had to pick up a few things. I wanted Pinkerbell (pictured third from right) since I read its a dupe for MACs Viva Glam Nicki and luckily I found it. I picked up Purty Persimon which  is a dupe for MACs Morange (pictured second from right)

 I have memories of my dad taking me here when I was little, my first job as a teenager was here, I've had my childrens birthday parties at boomers. Its really a good time and has been a place for my family for many years.

I bought this concealer about 2 weeks ago, I haven't been wearing make up though because in my part of sunny Southern California the heat has been in low to mid 100's, I personally hate wearing make up in the heat. Anyway I cant tell you what made me go out and buy this but I did read reviews about how good it is at concealing. I'm 32 a year old mom that still gets acne, I still have acne scars also so I thought I'd give it a try since it says its good enough to cover tattoos.

  Hard Candy says: A heavy duty, highly pigmented, multi-use concealer that delivers ultimate coverage. The formula blends seamlessly into skin with plenty of play time creating a flawless and natural look perfect for any occasion. You can hide everything from dark circles and blemishes to tattoos! 

The bad thing is hard candy only puts out 3 shades of this concealer: light, medium and tan. I'm dark skinned so I bought the tan. This tube also comes with a concealer pencil but I have yet to use it so I'll review that at another time.

When reading reviews I saw many post about how "a little goes a very long way", this is TRUE

 so here's my hand with a very small  amount of Glamoflauge

The color is a very bad match for my skin color so what I normally do is before applying I mix it with a dark foundation. I couldn't get a good picture without the flash since my rooms lighting isn't great. Here's what the concealer looks like without any foundation mixed in and with flash but since I dont need this much on my face, its not too much of a big deal

Final review: If you're looking for a concealer on a budget I would recommend Hard Candies Glamoflauge. The bad thing is the colors they offer, not many to pick from so if you're dark skin this concealer wont work to well, unless of course you get creative. The concealer is somewhat oily so make sure to apply something that helps control oil. Another good point is I bought it at Walmart for $6!
